Explore the Garden
The driveway meanders past a sub-tropical water garden consisting of 5 interconnecting ponds lush with water lilies and visiting ducks and Pukekos.
A small waterfall cascades into the larger pond with a further waterfall arising out of the 4 ton volcanic plug.
Guests may relax in the pagoda or explore the bog garden and stepped pathways amongst lush plants adorning the steep bank.
The entrance to the lodge is alive with a variety of rose bushes and the fragrance of Wisteria and Bougainvillea.
Guests can enjoy picking their own organically grown oranges which are freshly squeezed each morning for breakfast.
The Tuis, Rosellas, kingfishers and quail all add a kaleidoscope of color to this subtropical haven.
