Stayed for a most enjoyable 4 nights at the lodge. It is in a quiet peaceful location yet within easy reach of Kerikeri where there are some very good restaurants: not as commercial as Paihia and an ideal base from which to tour the bay of islands. Our hosts Jeff & Linda were friendly and helpful in pointing out places of interest. Hope to return at some time.

Have just spent two nights at the lodge and really enjoyed the place. The hosts Linda and Jeff were very welcoming. The location is excellent. The sound system in the guest lounge is brilliant. Christine used the wellness clinic and was very impressed with Jeff’s knowledge. I think this is an added bonus to the lodge. We will be back.

We spent three nights at the lodge over the easter weekend. Linda and Jeff were so generous, upgrading our room to give us more space with our infant daughter. We were impressed by the impeccable presentation of the place, the scrumptious breakfasts, and the warmth and knowledge of our hosts. On our next trip to the area, we’ll be sure to stay here again. Thank you so much.

The Georgian Lodge was one of the best B&B’s we have stayed in throughout our time in New Zealand. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Linda and Jeff were gracious hosts and there was nothing we would change. Virginia and Brett

We had heard this was a great place, but all expectations were well exceeded.
Brilliant rooms, service, details. A quiet breakfast for two really blew us away, in a magical period setting. We really needed a relaxing time and we got it in shovel loads. Wonderful setting and people. Jeff was even able to manifest a book containing details and pictures of the waka that brought me to New Zealand in 1962. Amazing. These fabulous people couldn’t do enough for us. It was a privelage to stay in such a nice environment. We will be back I am sure – if we can get a booking!! Many thanks for fabulous relaxing time. Fran & Phil Jones. stayed at the lodge from Aprl 24 – 27 2009.

Essentially our stay exceeded all expectations. Having had to cancel a previous booking for our Wedding due to unforseen circumstances, not only were we without a room for the weekend we were minus a venue for our wedding. The wedding was to be the legal ceremony before we left for the UK to celebrate with our families in a blessing, so it was very important that we went ahead with it. We phoned Lynda and Jeff two weeks before our wedding day and not only were they able to offer us accomodation but a venue for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing on the day, they really made our wedding day special, the fire was lit in the lounge, a table with flower arrangements set, champagne and beautiful nibbles were prepared by Linda. Jeff arranged for some of our favourite music to be played through out the wedding. And both Lynda and Jeff were our witnesses. It all went without a hitch. We would highly recommend the Georgian Lodge for a relaxing retreat but also for a small intimate wedding. Lynda and Jeff were awesome hosts we couldn’t have asked for more. Phil and Fran Jones

Thankyou Jeff and Linda for a fantastic night of luxury and relaxation and Thankyou for the fantastic breakfast, Fresh local fruits and everything anyone could possibly ask for.

We booked our holiday at a 5 star luxury hotel and to save costs stayed at The Georgian lodge for the last day, The Georgian lodge is far better than the 5 star luxury hotel we stayed at and far better than any of the other 5 star hotels I have stayed at.

I never stay at the same hotel twice but I would definately make an exception for The Georgian Lodge, it is simply out of this world and ‘fit for a King’

    Cheers!

I spent one night in the lodge over the Keri Keri half marathon weekend. The room was beautifully appointed and Jeff and Linda were so hospitable it was amazing. You got the sense that they really enjoyed doing what they were doing – very friendly and welcoming. Great breafast too.

We stayed for one night for the half marathon and really appreciated that we were able to extend the chekout time in order to come back after the race to shower and have something to eat. The place was lovely and very well kept! I would definately recommend it to others and stay here again.

    Thanks!
